Elliot Henderson, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist, who is a Sub-Investigator at San Francisco Clinical Research. He has been associated with the Center for the past twenty years and has been involved in numerous clinical trials focusing upon early cognitive decline and dementias.
Dr. Henderson has been conducting a private practice in San Francisco, CA since 1985 and specializes in the treatment of psychological traumatic injuries and disability. He also specializes in pre-employment psychological assessment for law enforcement applicants. As described, Dr. Henderson possesses diverse specializations, yet with the underlying theme of diagnosis and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders.
Dr. Henderson graduated from the California School of Professional Psychology in Berkeley, CA with a Ph.D. in Psychology in 1983 and received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1973. He later attended San Francisco State University, obtaining a Master's Degree in Psychology and a Pupil Personnel Credential, which allowed him to work as a School Psychologist.
After working as a School Psychologist for three years, he entered CSPP. Dr. Henderson's clinical training was at the late San Francisco U.S. Public Health Hospital, the San Francisco Veterans Administration Hospital, the Forensic Unit at San Francisco General Hospital, and the late Mount Zion Crisis Clinic in San Francisco. Since achieving licensure in 1985, his practice has been associated with the St. Francis Memorial Hospital allied professional community.
