The San Francisco Clinical Research Center is one of the leading clinical research centers in the United States. We have been actively participating in successful clinical trials since 1978. Our headache database, which contains over 5500 patients, has expanded tremendously over the years.
Our site has been involved in landmark studies leading to FDA licensing of all triptan medications marketed thus far, and we are currently conducting additional studies on three other such medications, as well as new headache treatments and headache prophylactic medications. We have expanded our clinical research center significantly to involve Alzheimer's prophylaxis and treatment, stroke, acute back pain, anxiety, diabetes, hypertension, post-operative pain, depression and most other neurological conditions.
Every patient receives the highest quality medical care and attention. We notify the patient's primary care physician of enrollment and ongoing status and provide a full report at the conclusion of each study. We are located directly across the street from the St. Francis Memorial Hospital, so we have full access to any medical facilities you may require, including MRIs, PET scans, and other procedures.
We are proud to have a number of sub-specialists, internists and psychologists available to work with us on clinical trials in many other clinical areas including gastro-enterology, coronary artery disease, genito-urinary disease, hypertension, opthamology, psychiatric disorders, and oncology.
